Pain

Do we even know what is the meaning of the word PAIN until we have tooth ache?

I have always been the type who is scared of going to the dentist. I make sure I always brush my teeth and flos regularly. All because of having the idea of someone poking and probing my mouth is just too nightmarish.

Well, I am having one now. Started since Sunday morning, and what was my resolution. Took panadol. It will relieve all pain. Well, not this one. Ended up Monday morning, squirming with pain in the office.

Thankfully, this time around I manage to get a new dentist who is very gentle and considerate. The experience was not as bad as the previous experience. The sound of the drilling and digging also do not consume my nights.

I told my dentist that I want to keep my teeth. Told her to do everything that she can do so that I am able to preserve it. Well, this is why I am still having the scrutiating pain even though have went to the clinic.

Will still have to wait for the next appointment, which is on Saturday to do something with the root canal and gum. Which would mean more money and time spent to 'kill' the pain once and for all. When actually the only thing that I should and have been repeatedly advised to do is to see the dentist regularly.

Pls, pls God, let me live through this.
